The FDM Hong Kong Academy Program has successfully accomplished its mission for its first year. Although our new program only came into existence last September, we have placed 27 consultants working with HSBC and UBS in Hong Kong. Around 15 trainees are going to start their roles at the end of this month, 5 graduates are still under training and 10 fresh graduates have joined our Academy Programme this month…

Every Friday afternoon, the Manchester Academy holds a presentation/debate seminar for trainees to take part in, in order to increase our presentation and people skills. We have to research our subject, plan and then after we have presented, handle the complex questions asked at the end…

We currently have an amazing opportunity for IT grads to work for HSBC in Hong Kong! So far we have had a positive response for the role and have seen about 26 applicants, and a fair number of those are looking to be placed.
In working so closely with this I have learnt how great an opportunity it is. It poses the chance to work with one of the biggest banks in the world in a vibrant city, so its like being offered the dream job! I’m quite interested myself, but I can’t speak Cantonese…
